藍鳥今天在熱身賽對上雙城，推出Francisco Liriano(利瑞安諾)上場先發，結果他本場力投4又2/3局飆出10次三振，展現強勢K功，但無奈獨木難撐大局，藍鳥本戰投打失?，終場以2：8吞敗。
這不是Liriano熱身賽第一次有如此誇張的三振表演，總計他至今出賽3場，共投9又2/3局，飆出18K，幾乎2/3的打者都是用三振解決。
不過可惜這樣的好表現卻沒辦法幫助球隊取勝，4局上Max Kepler率先敲安上壘，接著朴炳鎬一棒掃成中外野方向的2分砲，形成2：0的領先，不僅讓Liriano淪為敗投，也一棒粉碎了他今年春訓無失分的紀錄。
雙城本戰先發Tyler Duffey，雖然三振能力沒有Liriano那麼搶眼，但一樣投完5局無失分，僅被敲4支安打，表現有板有眼，熱身賽至今奪得2勝，防禦率3.86，或許有機會來一爭球隊輪值。
林書豪在27首度對上前東家黃蜂，表現優異在上半場便攻下15分，沒想到第三節還未結束便受傷退場。
林書豪在第三節剩下7分47秒時向場邊教練示意暫停，並立即下場進入休息室治療，隨後球隊證實林書豪大腿再度拉傷，此役並不會再出賽，總計出賽22分鐘留下17分4助攻的成績。
林書豪本季才因左大腿拉傷的關係缺席了17場比賽，籃網在他缺陣期間戰績為4勝13敗。
籃網在第四節靠著Brook Lopez連續單打得手，在比賽剩下7分鐘時暫時以100比98領先。
